The Ultimate Camping Destination!

Less than a mile away, Lake Chatuge is a man-made reservoir created by the Chatuge Dam which finished in 1942.  The lake is relatively shallow with depths of 30 feet and reaches 144 feet by the dam.  There are Spotted Bass, Black Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass and Channel Catfish here!

The beginning of the Appalachian Trail (AT) which is 2,190 miles long starts just south of us.  You can hike the entire trail, or just enjoy portions of the trail nearby.

Brasstown Bald is the highest point in the State of Georgia.  Located just a few miles away, this mountain is known to the native Cherokee people as Enotah.

Turn your camping experience into a full vacation.   Visit our nearby   businesses to indulge yourself with a day at a spa, enjoy fine dining,   discover a new "favorite" wine from one of our local Georgia vineyards, shop the local specialty shops, go horseback riding, take   in a round of golf, enjoy local hiking trails - the list of possibilities is almost endless.  At the end of the day, return to your campsite and relax, unwind and enjoy the sounds of our creek as you sit by your campfire.
